We love the teachers here they are so helpful. My girls love this school

Faculty and staff care about these kids. Thankful my girls attend.

I love Ms. Kerr, Mrs. Christy, Ms. Richards, and Mr. Smith. These are the teachers, principal, and assistant principal. I will honestly say my son is a handful, and probably one of the students most parents complain about, but I can say based on my son getting suspended every week in the Atlanta/Fulton County school system because of no stability, knowledge, or constitency his behavior was out of control. This school was able to Target reasoning for his behavior, and the best part is they actually spent time with him teaching him, observing him, and acknowledging his bad behavior and showed him ways of life with life lessons and examples. Mr. Smith (the asst. principal) took time off his days to teach my son musical instruments, which means he would sit in class as a parent. I have never met a principal or teacher that would do that. My son behavior is still a work in process, but he has made so much progress at this school. He's more knowledgeable of his mistakes, and own up to his consequences, and apologizes. He loves this school, and I do too! They say it takes a village to raise a child, I can say the people at this school actually spends the time with these kids to resolves issues, teach them ways to handle situations, and helping them understand good choices and bad choices. They don't just kick these kids to the curb or out of school, they actually do everything they can to understand the mental behavior or each child and approach each child different. My son (even though he can have a behavior) he was shocked that another student was acting up bad, and the teacher did not get upset or yell at the student, he couldn't believe it. Where as in Atlanta kids are just blame for things just because and they yell and curse students out and I've witnessed this first hand, which is not an issue unless you are not trying to help. Atlanta teachers are adult children, but want the children to act like adults. Crazy huh? I respect the staff at Sandy Hill, they are really trying to help kids with behavioral issues and I think they are doing a great job!!!!! THANKS SANDHILL!!!!!

There so great
